It's one of our most attractive looking robot vacuums. iRobot's latest flagship model also is among the most intelligent model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

It's the only robot vacuum/mop to score a perfect 10 in our evaluations, thanks to a combination of high-tech sensors, which include a camera, structured light system, and multiple lasers. The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with a lot of advanced features to help you get rid of your chores. Similar to Ecovacs' range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that can take care of both mopping and vacuuming. It comes with a multifunction dock that automatically empties the vacuum's trash bin, refills its water tank, and washes and dries its mop pads.

The smart robot vacuums that mop employs the combination of LIDAR and structured light to create floor plans and identify obstacles, making it more efficient than its more expensive rivals. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards but this was not reliable in our tests and was often confused by power cords or other obstructions.
