The i7+ is quicker and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin which eliminates a major cause of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and vacuum a particular area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to speak commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." Its flat front makes it possible to reach the corners and the edges of walls.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it isn't equipped with the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top selections and the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series.
