However, it's a good choice for those who want to save money on an Roomba from iRobot, and you have a bare-floored home or office. It's also very quiet and can be used when you're at work or school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming feature that's offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't adhere very well and cannot handle dried-on debris. The Q5 does have self-emptying docks, however. With an elegant, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competitors' boxy units, this mop and robot vacuum mop cleaner robot is among the most attractive designs in our evaluations. The newest model from iRobot is its most advanced, with advanced features including Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It's also the sole robot vacuum/mop to score an absolute 10 out of 10 in our evaluations. This is due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, a camera and multiple lasers.
