Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-highest rated robot vacuum models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart vacuum cleaner mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced Robot Vacuum Price vacuum to date. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app, which lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.

Its design is superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ swiftly took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in its place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even was able to capture sand and small gravel which other robots can't. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, although not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best option is probably hybrid. This category of bots typically includes a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also have a number of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. perform to the standards. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the premium features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, design virtual barrier and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place it is done without difficulty. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum cleaner cheap vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is among the best in the industry however it's quite expensive.

Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. The majority of other robots require this.

And its vacuuming is impressive, too. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do an excellent job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet floors, as well as a mopping function for a low cost. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be placed near an outlet with plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The most important aspect that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. When it needs to recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it began.

how-do-robotic-vacuum-cleaners-work-medium.jpgThe eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges more quickly and has the same battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky material like cereal.robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpg
